Can You Help Ty Hafan This Christmas?
Year 10 pupils from Bryntirion Comprehensive School have embarked on a very special community challenge as part of their GCSE Welsh Baccalaureate studies, and they need your help!
Local businesses and residents are urged to support the Ty Hafan Christmas Toy Appeal by donating brand new, unwrapped gifts suitable for children aged up to 18 years old. Ideas include age appropriate DVD’s, sound books, musical sets, sensory toys and toiletries for teenagers. No food or drink can be accepted.
15 year old Ellie Jenkins is leading the campaign for Bryntirion Comprehensive School. She says: “Ty Hafan was an obvious choice for our community challenge. We want to help the children of Ty Hafan and help make Christmas a special time for them. The help from Payton Jewell Caines is really appreciated.”
Kath Jones is Head of Fundraising for Ty Hafan. She adds: “Ty Hafan provides comfort, care and support to life-limited children and their families in Wales, helping them to make the most of the time that they have left together. From diagnosis to bereavement and beyond, we take our support right into the heart of the family home”.
Your help will make a real difference to the terminally ill children and their families this Christmas. Please deliver your gifts (unwrapped but boxed) to Payton Jewell Caines by 16th December. Gifts will then be delivered to Ty Hafan.
