PJC Achieves Accreditation

Ashleigh Lewis, Victoria John and Jessica Morgan at Payton Jewell Caines have achieved accreditation with Landlord Accreditation Wales.

As a joint initiative between the Private Sector and Housing/Environmental Health Services from each of the 22 Local Authorities in Wales, Landlord Accreditation Wales is supported by the Welsh Assembly Government.

Sara Hawkins, Rentals Manager for Payton Jewell Caines explains: “In light of all the recent changes that have affected the rules and regulations concerning the rental market, the Local Authorities in Wales decided to devise a Landlord Accreditation scheme that didn’t concentrate on property standards, but rather standards of knowledge and professionalism within the sector.”

“The residential property rental market is definitely here to stay as all the research shows that the UK rental market is going to continue to grow. It is therefore essential that we are able to offer a first class service to landlords and tenants including a dedicated maintenance facility. Accreditation gives landlords peace of mind and the reassurance that their properties are in safe hands with us.”

Led by Rental Manager Sara Hawkins, a member of the Association of Residential Letting Agents and the National Federation of Property Professionals, the team at Payton Jewell Caines includes a dedicated maintenance department and manages over 460 properties from their offices in Pencoed and Port Talbot. The team is regulated by the RICS.
