£1000 Raised For Macmillan With Cake And Coffee

 

Payton Jewell Caines have raised over £1000.00 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

 

Bridgend, Pencoed and Port Talbot staff joined Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event by holding a coffee morning and raising money for people living with cancer on Friday 26 September. They were joined by the Mayor or Bridgend County Borough, Councillor Gary Thomas and his consort Kay Jenkins as pictured with Managing Director of Payton Jewell Caines, John Caines.

 

The event raised a staggering £521.00 which the company then matched to give a total amount of £1042.00.

 

John Caines said that all staff had got involved to support Macmillan: “Cancer touches the lives of so many people. Our staff were keen to get involved, working hard to invite clients and contacts to enjoy coffee and cake in our offices. We had a great morning and to raise over £1000 is a fantastic result.”
