Payton Jewell Caines has launched a community programme that will fund local charities, education and sporting initiatives.
‘PJC in the community’ will focus on the communities that surround each of Payton Jewell Caines’ offices across Pencoed, Bridgend and Port Talbot. Charitable causes and fundraising initiatives that support the sick, the elderly and the young will be given priority.
John Caines, Managing Director says: “We are really proud of all that we do to support sporting initiatives and worthwhile causes in our local communities. We want to build on the momentum of last year so have taken the decision to formally launch a community programme that will be led by staff.”
“As a company, we are proud of our heritage, the work that we do and where we live. We want to actively support the local communities in which we operate and we are keen to recognise and encourage the voluntary work of our staff and those around us. It is also important that we help those less fortunate than ourselves.”
The committee responsible for administering the community fund meet on a quarterly basis. Local charities or fundraising initiatives should apply in writing community@pjchomes.co.uk by 13th June 2016 to be considered for the next round of funding.
