TONDU RFC PLAYERS SUPPORT SHOEBOX APPEAL
Tondu RFC Under 15’s have delivered a very special result for the 2017 Christmas Homeless Shoebox Appeal.
Players met with our Sales Director Helen John to hand over shoeboxes from the team. She said: “We’ve supported the boys over the last few seasons so it is great to see them now helping us to help the homeless. We are really grateful for their help and it was a pleasure to meet such lovely boys. They are a real credit to Tondu RFC.”
You can help those that are facing Christmas sleeping rough this year by donating to the 2017 Christmas Homeless Shoebox Appeal. Simply fill an old shoebox with much-needed toiletries, warm clothes and food. Pop in a Christmas card, wrap your shoebox and mark it female or male then drop it off at Payton Jewell Caines.
Suggested items include toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, hairbrush, razor, wet wipes, sanitary products, deodorant, moisturiser, lip balm, gloves, hat, scarf, socks, thermals and new underwear. Bottled water, crisps, chocolate, biscuits, cereal bars, powdered hot drink sachets, a small torch, hand warmers and roll mats are also needed.
