1st Brackla Girl Guides could be our next sporting heroes thanks to a donation from local estate agents Payton Jewell Caines.
Having struggled to raise funds to buy sporting equipment, volunteers asked Payton Jewell Caines to help out the unit, which includes 12 girls aged 10–14 years old.
Volunteer Sarah Morgan says: “The support from Payton Jewell Caines has enabled us to purchase valuable resources for our unit. This will help to ensure that we can provide new experiences and skills to our members and help to ensure the continued growth of our unit.”
Helen John, Sales Director for Payton Jewell Caines adds: “We are really proud of all that we do to support sporting initiatives and worthwhile causes in our local communities. Our community
programme helps to fund local charities, education and sporting initiatives like 1st Brackla Girl Guides. We are delighted to have been able to help the girls.”
The Payton Jewell Caines community committee meets on a quarterly basis. Local charities or fundraising initiatives should apply in writing to community@pjchomes.co.uk by 1 June 2015 to be considered for the next round of funding.
