It’s Christmas Time for the Children of Ty Hafan

Year 10 pupils from Bryntirion Comprehensive School have delivered some special festive cheer to children at Ty Hafan.

The pupils organised a collection of gifts to support the charities annual Christmas Toy Appeal. Their efforts form part of their Welsh Baccalaureate Studies. Payton Jewell Caines supported the appeal by collecting and donating gifts for the terminally ill children and their siblings.

15 year old Ellie Jenkins led the campaign for Bryntirion Comprehensive School. She says: “Ty Hafan was an obvious choice for our community challenge. We wanted to help the children of Ty Hafan and help make Christmas a special time for them. The help from Payton Jewell Caines has been really appreciated and we are very grateful that they also purchased gifts for the children.”
