Meet Kelly

PJC has been a family run business for over 40 years. With branches across Neath, Port Talbot, Pencoed and Bridgend, we’d like to introduce you to the latest members of our team, who help families and first-time buyers find their dream homes.

Meet Kelly. Kelly’s the latest addition to join our Port Talbot branch.

How long have you been at PJC?

I joined PJC back in April 2019 and I can’t believe I’ve already been with the firm for 8 months. The time has flown by and I really enjoy helping people find their forever home.

What did you do before pursuing your career in the property industry? 

Myself and my partner spent the last 2 years living in Canada. During the first year, we road tripped through Canada and the U.S, and finally settled in a beautiful small ski town called Banff.

During my time in Banff I managed the cosmetic department in a Canadian department store called Hudson’s Bay Company. Although it was challenging, I loved every moment!

What’s your favourite thing about working for a local award-winning estate agent?

I am very proud to work for a local award-winning estate agent. We have a fantastic and friendly team that pull together to provide excellent customer service. We also invest heavily in our local communities which was one of the first things that attracted me to work for PJC.

What’s your favourite office biscuit? 

A chocolate Hobnob and a cuppa goes down a treat!

What does it feel like when you help people find their forever home? 

It’s a people industry! We play an integral role in the lives of the people we help in what can sometimes be an emotional journey. Building a professional rapport with my clients is an enjoyable part of my day to day role and, of course, finding their dream home is always rewarding.

What’s the highlight of your career? 

Working in such a fast paced office can be demanding on times but the buzz and excitement that the challenge brings keeps me motivated and focused to achieve. Although I am still very new to the role, my colleagues have continuously supported me and taught me so many new things about the industry, helping me to achieve new milestones.

What are your colleague’s like in the Port Talbot branch?

They are a mad bunch – but in a good way! They make it a pleasure to come to work each day. Teamwork is an integral part of our office, we all ‘muck’ in together to help each other out and, overall, provide an excellent service for our clients.

What is your favourite thing to do outside of work? 

Hiking, biking, snowboarding, basically anything outdoorsy – I love an adventure!
