PJC donate Christmas hampers to MIND NPT
Every Christmas, the team at PJC come together and make a charitable donation to a local charity. This year, we chose MIND NPT.
Mental health can affect us all, in different ways and at various times in our lives.
Did you know approximately 1 in 4 people in the UK will experience a mental health problem each year.
Reports from both England and Wales suggest that only approximately 1 in 8 adults with a mental health problem are currently receiving treatment. That’s why we feel support groups are so important for our local community.
Here is Emma Richards and Kloe Davies, from our Neath branch handing over the hampers prepared by the staff for their Christmas raffle to Sharon Bevan, Sue Straddling and Theresa Cadd of MIND NPT.
Director Sharon said “We are sincerely overwhelmed with the generosity. It’s such a lovely thought for you to support us. It will make such a difference to people who use who our services, especially ones who live alone, over the Christmas period. These little acts of kindness really will put smiles on people’s faces.”
The PJC team have also committed to running swansea half marathon in 2019 to raise money for MIND.
