Writing to Learn with Cefn Glas Infants

Cefn Glas Infants are writing to learn with the launch of a new literacy programme that has been developed to encourage children to choose to write.

Part funded by estate agents Payton Jewell Caines, the programme will involve all 239 pupils who are all aged between 3 and 7 years old. It includes dedicated writing areas.

Head Teacher Sue Henderson explains: “We learn together at Cefn Glas Infants and we are very proud of all of our achievements. We continue to focus on improving literacy at all levels, including both reading and writing. This unique programme will help children to develop their writing skills so we are very grateful to Payton Jewell Caines for their kind donation.”

Karon Quirke of Payton Jewell Caines added:“We are very proud of our community donation programme and delighted to see the difference that our support is making to local children.”
